Oh my goodness, I am so happy to be back with another recipe. I have missed you guys SO much, and I’ve missed cooking/photographing/writing. Trust me, it feels good to be getting back to normal. After 2 courses of anti biotics, nearly 3 weeks off work and basically zero appetite, I am so ready to feel human again. One of the only foods i’ve really been fancying lately is smoothies, so I thought it would be apt to share with you my absolute favourite one that I’ve had countless times in the last few weeks!
Smoothies are one of me and Ben’s favourite things to have in the morning. It’s so easy to throw some fruit into a little bag and pop it in the freezer the night before, ready to just blend up and go in the morning. It’s an easy, convenient way to incorporate more fruit into your diet. This peanut butter banana chocolate smoothie is basically like a milkshake, or a freakshake haha! It’s so thick and chocolately, if you told me this was a dessert, I would believe you.
All that goes into this wonderful smoothie, is frozen bananas, peanut butter, some cocoa powder and plant milk. If you are fancying a treat in the morning, or looking for a lightened up milkshake that still hits the spot, this is it.
